This is VR Aero Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler Toyota A90 Supra 2020+. Manufactured by VR Aero.
After a 20-plus year hiatus, the Toyota Supra finally made a return with the A90 chassis. Jam-packed with the latest technology, the A90 caught many wandering eyes upon its release. The aggressive styling and performance feature truly makes the A90 an incredible machine, but there is a tremendous lack of carbon fiber which many believe is deserved for a modern performance machine.
The rear trunk looks boring to some in its stock form which is why VR Aero set out to solve this issue. VR Aero released the dry carbon fiber rear trunk spoiler to combat the lack of carbon fiber while also adding to the performance styling. Thanks to the 3D scanning and CAD manufacturing process, the carbon fiber trunk spoiler offers precise fitment without the need to modify or drill holes in your trunk.
With a beautiful 3K 2x2 twill weave construction the dry carbon fiber offers elegance while improving the performance look. Pre-preg carbon fiber is rigid and lightweight which is ideal for those worried about adding more weight to their vehicle for track use. Installing the VR Aero rear trunk spoiler will enhance the performance and track look of the A90 that flows well with the factory aesthetics.
After the carbon fiber comes out of the autoclave, it is polished to perfection and gives off a glorious sheen. By utilizing a UV-resistant resin and injecting it into the fibers helps eliminate the chances of the trunk spoiler getting yellow or hazy over time. It is common for the cheaper carbon fiber to degrade over time due to exposure to UV rays from the sun.

What is Dry Carbon Fiber? Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a pre-preg or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold, and then into a sealed vacuum to properly cure. This particular method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The vacuuming process of making dry carbon means that there are fewer pinholes and almost no air pockets that form in the carbon. Dry carbon is the highest quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. However, it is 3 to 4 times more expensive to produce than its counterpart.
Advantages of Dry Carbon Fiber: - 60% Lighter and Significantly stronger
- Superior manufacturing process
- Uses a dry finish for enhancing its cosmetic appearance
