Tuning the ECU of your McLaren MP4-12C V8 turbo engine is possible with VR Tuned. The driving characteristics are vastly improved while providing you additional benefits that your engine craves for. Attached dyno numbers shown are on 91 octane, tested on a Mustang AWD Dyno. The test car was our own Project McLaren 12C 2012 car. The Mustang Dyno has a typical drivetrain loss of 20% in all wheel drive. AWD is used to not confuse the sophisticated traction control systems. Once flashed, the 12C becomes an outright monster. The vehicle is still easy to drive, but testing at a 1/2 mile race did 168mph! The ECU flash is one of the best mods you can do to the McLaren 12C.

How to Flash Your ECU?

• We can bench flash the ECU. To bench flash the ECU, you must remove it from your vehicle and send it to us. Once we receive the ECU, we will prepare the tune file and then ship it back to you for re-installation. We do not solder or modify the ECU board at all.
