JB4 Group 7
This easy to install plug and play tuner attaches to sensors in the engine bay and works with your factory ECU tuning to remap boost, timing, and fueling for optimal performance and reduced turbo lag. Includes full SENT sensor technology required for properly tuning the latest Audi platforms. Includes full CANbus allowing the JB4 to access and incorporate all engine data in it's tuning strategies, incorporate unique safety features such as keeping boost pressure low until oil and water is up to temperature to provide proper engine and turbo lubrication, and drop to a low boost map if the engine starts to over heat, run lean, excessively knock, or over boost. Includes fuel control for ethanol mixture mapping. Fully compatible with JB4 mobile for on the fly map changes, data logging, firmware updates, and much more.
Revision 2 now includes an integrated boost control connection which can be optionally connected for higher power applications. You no longer need to purchase a separate BCM module for this!
Optional JB4 Wireless Mobile Connect Kit or BMS Data Cable
Wirelessly connect the JB4 to your Bluetooth 4.0 compatible iOS and Android device via the JB4 Mobile connect kit, or to your Windows laptop with the BMS data cable. Both options allow you to record and analyze vehicle and tuning data, change JB4 performance maps, and update JB4 firmware as we release free newer versions with updates, more powerful maps, and new features under development.
Map guide as of v4 firmware:
Map0: Stock tuning, disable JB4
Map1: 2psi peak over stock (default)
Map2: 3psi peak over stock
Map3: 4psi peak over stock
Map4: 6psi peak over stock, E85 mixture, race gas, or octane booster suggested
Map5: 6.5psi peak over stock, E85 mixture, race gas, or octane booster suggested
Map6: Custom tuning map, can be used as additive by setting RPM1500 less than 5psi, or absolute by setting it greater than 5psi.
Map7: Water/Meth (WMI) Progressive Mapping
Map8: Low Boost/VALET map. Runs 30% less boost than stock.
