Due to popular demand, all of our 2-piece, lightweight discs will now come with black anodized Disc hats featuring Type 3, hard anodizing, the highest quality and hardest anodizing available for aluminum. This will make the disc hats more resistant to fade and wear and will hide brake dust better. Due to popular, demand all lightweight Disc rings will also feature zinc plating. This high quality coating will slow the effects of corrosion and keep your Disc rings looking good through the winters.

Shaves 7lbs of unsprung weight from the rear of your car while increasing braking performance, plus they bolt on just like stock! 

This is great alternative to a full on Big Brake Kit since the stock D4 A8-S8 and C7 A6-A7-S6-S7-RS7 is a stout 356mm (14") and most may not want to spend $2,000 plus for a full Big Brake Kit. We basically brought the same high performance great cooling designed disc to these drop in (fit like stock) front discs and at a 1/4 of the price or less of a full Big Brake Kit. 

Stock vs. JHM

• Disc Weight: Stock = 18.5 lbs(each), JHM = 15lbs(each) - Almost 20% LIGHTER, 3.5lbs less each
• Disc Cooling Air-gap: Stock = 7.4mm(.291"), JHM = 10.35mm(.407") - LARGER for better cooling
• Disc Cooling Center Fin Design: Stock = Directional (one pushing air IN, one pushing air OUT, same PN both sides), JHM = Directional, specific left and right side design- MORE EFFICIENT for better cooling
• Disc OD: Stock = 356mm(14"), JHM = 356mm(14") - SAME
• Disc Thickness: Stock = 22mm(.866"), JHM = 22mm(.866") - SAME
• Bolt pattern: - SAME (fits like an OEM Disc would)

INCLUDES: 2 - JHM 2-piece Lightweight Front Discs. (Each Disc weighs 3.5lbs less than stock for a total of 7lbs weight savings.) Almost 20% lighter!

Outer ring specs:

We worked closely with a race brake manufacturer that supplies many NASCAR racers and a couple major brake kit companies. Due to their expertise we chose to have them build us the outer rings to our specs to fit the C7/D4. 10 attachment points with 3/8 inch zinc plated bolts for durability and strength.

Center hat specs:

We CNC machine the Aluminum center hats in house based on their recommended materials and thicknesses for durability. 10 attachment points for durability and strength. We also engrave JHM in them in 3 locations equal from each other, it looks clean and doesn't jump out or look tacky.

Please note: JH Motorsports does not recommend using EBC brake pads with our 2-piece lightweight Disc s. Customer have reported and we have found EBC pads leave excessive pad deposits that can cause brake pulsation. Many EBC pads have a break in coating that reacts with the zinc plating used on our Disc s.
