Our rebuild kit is offered in 2 ways:

  • Assembled at JXB
    • Send in your differential to us, and we’ll do a complete tear-down and rebuild, replacing all bearings and seals
  • DIY Version
    • Includes all JXB-designed special tools needed to completely rebuild your differential. Requires a 5/8”-18 slide hammer available at most auto parts stores and a hydraulic press.

Included bearings and seals:

  • 2 new outer axle oil seals
  • 4 new inner axle oil seals
  • New pump motor assembly gasket
  • New pinion shaft oil seal
  • 2 new pinion shaft bearings

If you choose the at-home DIY version, you will also receive:

  • JXB-designed axle bearing/seal tool kit (TLK01A0), including:
    • Case splitting wedge/block set
    • Outer axle seal remover tool
    • Outer axle seal installer tool
    • Inner axle seal remover/installer combination tool
    • Torque override axle shaft removal tool
    • Side bearing outer race removal tool
    • Side bearing outer race installer tool
  • JXB-designed pinion shaft rebuild tool kit (TLK02A0), including:
    • Pinion seal puller tool
    • Pinion seal installer tool
    • Pinion support stand for hydraulic press (needed to reinstall pinion shaft into casing)
    • Small pinion bearing puller tool
    • Small pinion bearing race removal tool
    • Small pinion bearing race installer tool including slide hammer extension
    • Large pinion bearing race removal tool
