Perfect straightforward fitment in place of the standard cat, I did have engine out at the time though. Although I did remove the OE cat with engine in situ,the band clamp would be tricky but on a 3 series it’s doable. Well worth the money to extract extra power but also keep the car capable of meeting MOT emissions. As per the website you will definitely need a map and having rear O2 sensor mapped out or you will get a catalyst below efficiency fault.
The build quality of this part is excellent. Disappointing that despite costing close to £700, no replacement gaskets are provided. This was not an easy install, with professional help we got it in, but it involved removing an engine mount to do so. Seems to be an issue with RHD cars in terms of space. On LHD, this probably would have been much easier. Paired with an upgraded intercooler and tune, definitely feeling more power.
